SCORE International/Best in the Desert Racing In 2006, the Outlaw 500 established that it was a competitive off-road trail racing bike; this year, its big brother, the Outlaw 525, intends to show its no slouch in the desert. Polaris has signed Pro Jeff Hancock to race the Outlaw 525 in SCORE and the Best in the Desert Racing Series. Hancock finished third in Class 25 for SCORE in 2006 and will race PRO ATV with the Outlaw 525. For Best in the Desert, Hancock will race PRO QUAD.
Contingency Programs For the 2007 racing season, Polaris will, once again, offer a contingency program for the SCORE International Racing Series. The company is offering the following contingencies for three SCORE races:
| San Felipe 250 First Place: $5,000 Second Place: $1,000 Third Place: $500 | Baja 500 First Place: $10,000 Second Place: $2,500 Third Place: $1,000 | Baja 1000 First Place: $25,000 Second Place: $5,000 Third Place: $2,500 |
Polaris also will continue to offer the largest ATV GNCC contingency program, offered for all GNCC ATV classes, including youth racing. The potential pay out for GNCC is more than $260,000 across all GNCC ATV classes, including the class champion. The maximum per race pay out is $2000 for the Pro class. Polaris currently is the only manufacturer offering a contingency program for the Youth circuit. The potential pay out for Youth is more than $15,000 and is available to all five classes, with a maximum per race pay out of $100.
