Arctic Cat Wildcat

One doesn’t need be an industry insider to note Polaris’ domination in the category of performance UTVs but if the latest rumors circulating prove true, it looks like Arctic Cat may be cooking up some serious competition.

Last month at Arctic Cat’s annual dealer meeting, a new sport UTV was revealed- one that quickly found its way to Youtube then spread around the net like wildfire.

While official press information on the new unit has yet to be released, we have assembled a spec sheet that should likely prove close to production:

• 64-inch width
• 16-17 inches wheel travel
• Remote Reservoir Equipped Shocks
• 95+hp (likely 1000cc)
• Tube chassis
• Four wheel drive
• LED lighting
• Curb weight around 1000 lb

We suspect full info and perhaps even the ability to place orders will open after the dealer show this August, with deliveries beginning around October. According to sources, MSRP will be around ,900.

2012 marks the brand’s 50th Anniversary and this new Wildcat will likely represent the brand’s flagship performance UTV and serve as direct competition to the highly anticipated Polaris Ranger RZR XP 900.
