Now, a brake lever is a brake lever, right? Well, this one is little different. Made with the same crosshatching and high quality of the clutch lever, this lever has some added adjustments. As you can see in the picture there are two adjustment screws, one out the front and another one on the inside of the lever. The outside screw allows you to adjust the lever closer in or further out from the grip, this can be a real benifit for smaller hands. The brake lever can easily be used with only two fingers, a very common practice among riders. Once you get the lever adjusted for reach, then you can set the inside screw so you get full brake travel. Simple setup, easy to adjust and it works great.

The newest product for RTC is air scoops and louvers. After we added the 440 big bore to our 400EX we needed something little extra to help keep the bigger cylinder cool. Brian assured us his scoops really did work and were not just "something to stick stickers on", so we put him to the test. Using a electronic temperature gun we checked the engine temp in serveral places to get a good reading on the temperature. We then installed the scoops. Brian put a lot of work in designing the scoops so they were easy to install and actually did direct enough air to help cool the engine. All necessary bolts are included and this is trully a bolt on accessory, unless you are still running full front fenders. The scoops use existing holes or bolts already in the frame, but one of the bolt holes used is where the bottom front fender brace is bolted on. Now, if you have cut fenders, no problem, if you dont, you will have to rig up some kind of support. Our 400EX still has full fenders so we took the original support rods, cut off the ends, added some more 1/4" rod and bolted them to the bolts holding the oil tank on. Brian is currently working on some brackets he can include with the hardware, so this problem may not exist for much longer. NOTE: Brian now has fender braces available. See pictures here and here.
