Video Clip: 800 HP Dune Buggy on the Streets of San Diego

When you think of Dune Buggies gone bad, images of endless desert, rippled sand and killer roost may spring to mind. What we found lurking on the streets of San Diego, however, defies any such sensibilities.

Imagine a VW Baja Buggy powered by an 800-HP LS1 Vette engine. Now imagine what that kind of power does to so small & light a chassis! We don’t like to give spoilers but let’s just say the vehicle’s driver does not need a ramp to catch air!

Of course the downside of advertising such antics on the web via a Youtube clip is that they can viewed by all. And by all, we of course mean the San Diego Police Department, who are currently investigating the situation.
