Polaris, the worldwide leader in off-road vehicles, is announcing 11 new models, including the Polaris RANGER XP 1000, General Four Seat, ACE 900 XC, RZR 570 S, and more, several product enhancements, and a new, ground-breaking technology that expands the off-road riding experience like never before. The 2017 news stems from Polaris’ relentless pursuit of innovation, and its commitment to building the very best off-road solutions for its riders.

For the first time, Polaris is introducing a vehicle enabled with RIDE COMMAND. RIDE COMMAND is a unique solution that solves the most common experiential problems with off-road riding by connecting the disconnect. With the RIDE COMMAND app and an intuitive, weather-resistant RIDE COMMAND™ 7” (17.8-cm.) Display, the system connects people to their machines and people-to-people for a more social off-road experience. Users are able to map rides in advance and transfer waypoints from their phones to the display via Bluetooth, plan and share their ride stats via social media, and track their friends’ locations while riding. In addition, drivers can integrate devices such as mobile phones to receive messages and play music, control their go GoPro, and sync accessory Sena headsets to talk to passengers all through the RIDE COMMAND 7” (17.8-cm.) Display. RIDE COMMAND is available on the RZR XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition and as an accessory through Polaris Engineered Accessories.

The new RZRXP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition offers all of RZR XP’s hallmark performance and versatility to dominate it all with added capability for premium trail riding and rock crawling. For Model Year 2017, the ACE family takes a big step forward as Polaris delivers everything customers have asked for: a more-powerful and affordable entry-level model, and better performance and ride quality on a trail-capable vehicle. And, for the customers who want big power and suspension, there’s the all-new 78-horsepower, 59-in. (149.9-cm) wide, long-travel suspension Polaris ACE 900 XC.

For customers looking for the perfect blend of performance and value, the 2017 ACE lineup offers two great models. The new ACE 500 has a new 32-horsepower, ProStar 500 engine offering more than 50-percent more displacement and torque than its predecessor for just $6,999 U.S, $500 less than the previous entry-level model. For customers who want more power, the ACE 570 remains in the line at just $8,499 and has the proven 45-horsepower ProStar 570 EFI engine and larger 25-in. (63.50-cm) tires.

For off-road enthusiasts looking for even more performance but wanting to maintain a narrow 48-in. (121.9-cm) trail-capable width, dual a-arm performance and ride quality come to the ACE 570 SP at the same price as the 2016 model: $9,999 U.S. The new front suspension offers a much nimbler, more responsive and smoother ride, and a tighter turning radius perfect for woods and trail riding.

The new ACE 900 XC puts big power and long-travel suspension in the ACE lineup. The vehicle has a 78-horsepower ProStar 900 engine; wider stance; a long-travel suspension with dual a-arms up front and an Independent Rear Suspension (IRS); and premium Walker Evans Position Sensitive Anti-Bottoming Needle Shocks on all four corners. The ACE 900 XC’s premium features bring the ACE experience to performance-minded customers who have a more aggressive riding style.

Polaris welcomes the new flagship RANGER XP 1000, which expands on both hardest working and smoothest riding attributes. The vehicle features a new ProStar 1000 engine, with an unprecedented 80 horsepower, 17 percent more power than its predecessor. To balance the hard-working power, the vehicle also comes with an exclusive Three-Mode Throttle Control, with Performance, Standard and Work settings. Performance mode unleashes full power with minor throttle input, while Work model enables precise throttle control for working situations. Standard mode enables smooth, controllable throttle response for everyday riding.

With the launch of the new RANGER XP 1000 and RANGER CREW XP 1000, Polaris will cater to every consumer application with new, innovative, special editions including two new High Lifter mud editions in a three-seat Full-Size and six-seat CREW models; the hard-working RANGER XP 1000 EPS Ranch Edition, built specifically to meet the needs of ranchers; and the industry’s first gas-powered UTV with heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) on the RANGER XP 1000 EPS NorthStar HVAC and CREW HVAC Editions.

The launch of the new Polaris GENERAL 4 1000 EPS brings ultimate comfort and refinement to the multi-passenger market. This vehicle is perfect for the family who wants to play all day and work when they need to. The new Polaris GENERAL 4 1000 EPS has a 100-horsepower ProStar 1000 engine, biggest payload, class-leading travel and ground clearance, a 600-lb. (272-kg) dump box and Electronic Power Steering (EPS) – with the addition of a second row of seats, with class-best knee clearance and shoulder room, to bring two more passengers along.

For 2017, Polaris has added VersaTrac Turf Mode to the Polaris GENERAL two-seat models for even more versatility. The system unlocks the rear differential with a flip of a switch on the dash, allowing for easier and tighter turns so the vehicle treads more lightly on sensitive terrains such as lawns. Plus, hunters will enjoy the new Hunter Edition with Polaris Pursuit Camo and a hunting accessory package.

The vehicles have a new rider-active design for the most sport-like experience ever on a Sportsman, in addition to delivering even more utility. To cater to a wide variety of customers looking for big power, the lineup features three new standard models with varying features: the industry’s most powerful ATV, the 90-horsepower Sportsman XP 1000, the 78-horsepower Sportsman 850 SP, and the industry’s best value big bore – the 78-horsepower Sportsman 850.

For the utility-minded farm or ranch customer looking for a vehicle that works even harder and is purpose-built for hauling and towing, Polaris is introducing the all-new Sportsman 450 H.O. and Sportsman 570 EPS Utility Editions. The Sportsman 570 EPS Utility Edition offers even more innovation with the industry’s first variable, low-speed limiter, which allows the rider to set the maximum speed between 7 and 14 mph (11.3-22.5 kph) in 1-mph (1.6-kph) increments, making it ideal for spraying and low-speed tasks. The utility packages on the units were developed so farm or ranch customers could take the units straight from the showroom floor to the corn field or pasture, saving time and money.
