Panther 200 ( No spark )
Just got a panther 200 ut. Didn't run when I got it home so drained the gas, changed the fuel filter and got it to run. It ran for about 20 min. then just cut off. checked and found it wasn't getting fire. Pulled the wire loose from the coil and is don't have fire there either. Is there a way to check the cdi box? If so how.

I don't know any specifics for your quad. Does you CDI like this?
If so, then the first thing to determine is if the CDI is DC powered or AC powered. Unplug the CDI, and turn on the ignition. Measure the voltage on the wiring harness pin labeled 'AC Ignition Power' to ground. Do you neasure 12 volts? If so you have a DC powered CDI.
If not, then switch your meter to AC volts on the 100 volt scale (or so). Crank the engine and measure the voltage on the same pin to ground. If you measure 35 to 80 volts AC you have an AC powered quad.
If you have a different CDI then we start over.
If you can't verify that you have either a DC or AC powered CDI, then that is another path.
Once we know which CDI version you have then that diverges into two more paths.
