Sorry for the wait computer blow up lol no its not for a quad I got this engine for next to nothing am **** for brains on engines so my questions don't make sence its terns over sparks but that one question am asking is! What does the gear sencor connect to a disply or speedo clock or even just a motorbike dash bord I found out the engine is a clone of the cb125 honda chinese copy called a zongshen so others say clueless as am not a machanic

don't be offended, but i cannot make sense out of your grammar and lack of spelling on this one. i'm not understanding what you're asking. i've read it 6 times and . i give up.

Okay all I won't to know is what this gear sensor does and do I need it or not and most off all where does it connect to on the wiring loom does it need a ECU or a display of some kind??

No you do not that's a cg motor probably a 162fmj motor the gear indicator goes in a little hole right next to the shifter to light up a light on the dash that says what gear your in. The only thing you need to run the bike is the cdi box, ignition coil and a functional startor. You can wire up a kill switch and and start button separate but if you want the bike to charge the battery you need the voltage regulator also then You can have a charging system also.

I concur, I wouldn't think you'd need the neutral light to satisfy the starter safety interlock. But he's right on the charging system, then you'd run the battery down as that's the only power you'd have & would have to charge it separately after a day's run

Exactly thos motors you can actually just hook up a jump box to the positive lead on the starter and ground in the motor and it will turn over.
