New guy needs help with kazuma starts with starting fluid but won't run
Kazuma ATV ran last fall but died one day and hasn't ran again. I took the carburetor apart and I think I got it cleaned. However, it won't stay running. I can get it to fire for a few seconds with starting fluid so I figured the carb, spark, or compression is not the problem but I am far from an expert. Any thoughts?

Where are you putting the starting fluid when it starts? This sounds like a fueling issue because it runs until it uses up all the ether. I would look to see if you are getting fuel to the carb, double check your jets, especially the pilot. They are tiny and even a little bit of gunk can cause issues. If those check out, it may be beneficial to drain all the gas and put fresh in.

Agree with above double check your jets. It took me 3 tries on a carb to clean it. Did not see the other holes in the jets. Also is your float set properly? Are you getting fuel out of the bowl? I had one where i had to disconnect the fuel from the tank and use a squirt bottle and force the fuel into the hose. Used the same squirt bottle to put fuel in carb and keep it running until it would pull the fuel out of the line. My guess is it had a good air lock in it
