Default Coolster 125cc Cuts Out at Full Throttle

I bought my son a new Coolster 125 for Christmas. It starts easily, idles nice, and runs good until you really give it some throttle. Any sudden throttle over about 3/4 will cause it to die out unless you back off. I noticed if I give it about half choke it doesn't do this.

I assume this this means it is starving for fuel. It's has only had about two tanks though it and always treated with sea foam. Do the make bigger jets? I read one post where folks were drilling the jets. It there a known fix for this?

Thanks

I would check the float level. If its set to low it will starve for fuel at higher speeds
