Has anyone been keeping up on the new Arctic Cats? This new side by side was just introduced at the dealer show.


The details are limited, but here is what is known so far.

High Output version of their current 1000cc V-Twin, with 95+ horsepower
Power steering
16 inches of front suspension travel, 17" of rear suspension travel
Same weight as Razr 900 (1,190 lbs)
Same width as Razr 900 (64")
Less cost than Razr 900 ($15,900)

Available in two colors; green and black.

That thing looks awesome. Glad to see someone come out with something thats a match for the RZR. Keeps the companies on their toes a bit more. Hopefully they release a model thats not so spendy for people who don't want to drop 16K on a toy. Something that falls in around the RZR-S price point.

 

they say its priced right under the rzr. Not sure if they mean the 800 or the new 900. Im guessing the 900 since its made to run with it at 85 plus hp.

 

The Rzr 900 is priced at $15,999, and based on early reports the Wildcat is priced at $15,900.

It looks cool,just saw a razor xp 900 up close ,its cool looking I asked what it cost,I was told 16 grand plus.Unfortunately I CANT afford that and for me to spend close to 20 grand thats not legal an is only gonna be used a few times a month at best isnt really practical for any of us here.Polaris and ARtic cat must of forgotten half the country is in a recession /depression an went straight for the BUSh.cheney clan.
