thay bolt on just under the running boards you use the same holes your running boards do but you need a half inch longer bolt . the bracket itself is a peace of angle iron with two tabs hanging down about a 1/4 " apart with a hole driled through both tabs. then all you do is build the blade so that the arms have tabs on the ends with a hole in it then slide the arms under the two brackets and the tabs on the arms go between the two tabs on the two brackets [one on each side] then if you have a winch you use that to lift and lower the blade and if you dont you make an arm to lift and lower the blade. maybe go and ask the local cat dealer if he has some pictures of the blade and brackets and you'll see what i mean.

You'll never make it as cheap as the manufacturer. But if you have it in your head that you have to do it-- so be it... You'll be fixin' it after the first plow...

Thanks for the pics bearthunder. I see Polaris goes all the way back to the ball hitch. I think I'll go to the frame like the cat mounts. As far as the reply to ecorman1: I have access to metal and cutting edges. Also rember that the word "Manufacture" means a "MAN" made something. I am man, let me show you what I can make! I've made my own custom bumper for my cat and more bar-b-que pits than I can count. Have welder and tourch will manufacture!

I hear ya Grease... You go BOYEE! Wouldn't stop a man on the move who knows his bearings. I have welder, mig and lots of want to be. Problem with most of us is, we have more time than money. Thou I'm old, I still have more time... Good luck with all your projects. We'll be watchin'.
