Default AC air filter

after looking at my 09 700 H1 TRV air filter I couldn't help but think what a piece of crap filter. K & N doesn't make anything yet for it, anyone have any suggestions?

K&N is not the best choice for an air filter unless you are racing. It flows more air, but filtration is not as good as other brands.

How you seen if a Uni filter is available?

K&N doesnt flow much better than any other filter. Maybe slightly, but not enough to worry about unless your following a pack on a gravel road for 5 miles. And its a lifetime filter. Clean it, put it back in. With that said, I have a UNI filter for extreme dust rides, just in case. But after 3 years and a K&N, no problems.

Bogging as in losing power? You shouldnt be losing power unless your in to high of a gear, or your exhaust is clogged and not keeping enough back pressure to keep water out.

ya it weird cuz it can happen without even being in deep water. When u drive through a puddle of shallow water and push the gas to have some fun...once the splash gets bigger(again even small puddles) it bogs down and lose RPMS and power?
