Default Arctic cat 400 smoking alot!

Ok heres the deal I have a 2007 arctic cat 400 4x4 and I started it up today and it was smoking really bad. Whitish blue. Just bought this and it needed 2 quarts of oil. I was shocked. it also will rev up really slow. Im thinkin rings?

sounds like it, if your going to replace rings do the whole engine just my 2 cents worth

Rings and smoking on a 2007?..........WOW!!
How many miles/hours on it?
Was it rode very hard?

Sometimes oil can get sucked through the crankcase vent tube and into air box. From there it goes through the filter and into the engine. I have seen this on machines that are run at WOT (wide open throttle) for long periods of time. So check air filter and air box for oil. Could Save you some $.
