Default please help

So i am looking for some advice on these three quads, looking to buy the best one

1. 2006 Artic Cat 500 4x4 279 mi. $2850
2. 2004 Polaris 600 4x4 95 hours $3000
3. 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660 102 hours $2500?

I am just looking for the very best all around bike, at these prices the $$ is really not the issue, thanks in advance

Well, you put this is the Arctic Cat forum so you can imagine I may be a bit biased.

NADA
'06 AC 500 4x4 manual...........$2245 - $2950
'06 AC 500 4x4 LE Auto..........$2630 - $3460
'04 Polaris 600 4x4.................$2225 - $2925
'02 Yamaha Grizzly 660...........$2170 - $2850
'02 Yamaha Grizzly 660 HNTR...$2105 - $2770

I would go for the Cat.

All of them are good choices, you won't lose with whatever you pick.

I have a 2005 Vinson that I believe shares it's engine with the AC500, and it's never given me any trouble through hundreds of miles of punishing terrain (not talking riding across meadows, but mountain trails in Utah, etc)

I don't know if Polaris had their quality control together in '04, but even if they did, the one thing I dislike about Polaris is the freakin' huge transmission you have to straddle...but that's my own personal dislike...Popo is a great machine and has a loyal following.

My best friend has a 2003 660 Grizz, and he has spent a lot keeping it fixed and running...unfortunately for him he is a mechanical idiot, but at least he knows it and doesn't try to fix it himself...so even the small things that most mechanically inclined riders could fix themselves become expensive and time-consuming to fix when you have to take it to the shop. I think the only real issue he had with it was the engine heat boiling the gas in the tank, and that was solved by adding heat-proofing tape to the bottom of the tank.

Like I said, you won't make a bad choice regardless of which one you pick
