Default Questions about a Plow

I just purchased an 08 Arctic Cat 650 TRV and now want to add a plow. I was looking to keep cost down and found this plow for $100. My question is are most of these plows the same and all I would need is a mounting kit for my quad? Also I had the Warn winch installed at the dealer, so do I need anything else to lift it?

that plow looks like it was made for a different atv,if your crafty and a welder you can make it work. the winch will work just fine. dont need anything but a place to hook the winch hook on the plow.

Other than what has been mentioned - you need a mounting plate to attache to the frame of the AC and the pushbars attach to the plate. Additionally - get some hockey pucks and thread them on your winch cable to act as a stopper for the winch because you could lift the plow high enough to have the pushbars hit the front frame work and bend the pushbars. This way your winch will only winch in so far before the pucks stop the winch at the fairlead and stops you from lifting the plow too high.
They do make commercial stoppers that you could buy but hockey pucks or some thing, rubber such as cutting some from some old tires will also work.
