Your 2007 AC 400 is powered by a Suzuki 376cc engine , and welcome to the forums .

I believe it has the same engine as the Suzuki Eiger or King Quad. Quite often the Ac parts bag says Suzuki on it!

However, depending on the parts you need you can sometimes get them cheaper for a Suzuki than for an AC. Not sure why.

Here's a coffee pot fact for ya. The 400 in the older cats was powered by a 371cc liquid cooled engine. They (arctic cat) then came out with what they called a 375 which was oil/air cooled 376cc (or just air cooled, not sure) along with the 400(371cc) engine. After a year or two they decided to get rid of the 400(371cc) and just offer the 376cc which is now the 400 air/oil cooled. Is it even oil cooled or just air cooled? i dont even know.

Older meaning pre-2000? OR Way older? (or should we use the PC term "aged")

That would also explain the oil cooler add on accessory that is available in their catalog. I always thought it was just for the 250's

I think they changed over around 2002 or 03. never could understand why they didnt keep a liquid cooled 400 though. im still not sure if it air or oil cooled. im gonna have to look into it for my own records... well i just researched a little. they are now air/oil cooled and in 2004 they were the 376cc(400). not sure about the 03 year. i wanna say 2002 was the year for both 400 models. this is all needless information, but im bored anyways. lol.
