Hello;
Check the left side,shifter shaft.Under the shaft is a large bolt that goes in to the stop for the high/low range.It has a spring with a ball in it.that also holdes the shifter fork in place,if the spring or ball has came out,the shifter fork won't engage the transmission even though it looks like its working from the right side.If its not engaging on the left side it won't go into gear.I have detailed photo's if you need them.Just write me back
