07 Arctic Cat 400 4 wheel drive issue
The four wheel drive on my '07 Arctic Cat 400 stopped working. I noticed the boot is torn on the output shaft that leaves the front universal and enters the pinion housing allowing the output shaft to slip backwards out of the pinion housing. Can't figure out what holds the shaft in place unless the boot itself does this job. Shaft is part #5 in the diagram. I posted this in another area but thought I might get another look on this section. Thanks, Stacy

Stacy, that sounds a bit wacky, but not impossible. Not too many AC guys here and so many different models of AC's. I have a 2002 AC 400 (great bike) but it's nothing like the 2007, heck, your's looks more like my 2008 AC 700 Diesel! If you haven't posted this on (Arctichat), you might try. Bound to be someone over there that has the answer. GL
