That's awesome. Thanks. The a arm seems straight with no warping. I do have slack when I work the strut up and down and it's coming from the top seat where the strut gives into the frame. It's minor, maybe 1/8 of an inch. Enough to make a sound. If that has a touch of slack, could that effect the camber also? Thanks for such quick replies.

Can't adjust the camber, but if the upper or lower pivot ball is cracked or missing, this can cause shimmying also. You just need to check things out carefully any time it's been wrecked.Plus doesn't take much to tweak an a-arm and it may still look ok.

Great advice. Thanks. I'll compare the a arm to the other side and check that it's true. I'll look close on the pivot ***** too. Thanks for your guidance. I'll let you know the outcome.

Ugh, this sounds like everything has turned into a bit of a hassle with your ujoint and the damage your friend (I'm sure inadvertently) did. Have you been able to figure it out? If you've got to replace everything in the axle (as it sounds like you do) try aftermarket parts. I usually go to AmericanCVStore.com. Good range, decent prices. Hope everything works out!
