Default Adjusting the semi auto clutch

I have a manual somewhere, but i lost it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img], so i need to know basically how the tighten or keep the clutch from engageing at such a high rpm, do i just loosen that nut on the right side of the engine and it adjusts automatically or what, someone plz help me out!

i'm also intrested in this topic. mine seems to slip jsut alittle in the warmer weather. i think that you loosen the nut and then turn the inner piece one way or the other untill it stops and then back it off a turn or something. but i have no real idea, i just think i remember reading something about this once years ago.

Im pretty sure that the stock setting for most bikes is all the way to the left, and once to the right after you cant turn it any further...

so..what your saying is, loose the nut, then turn the bolt counterclockwise till it stops, then all the way to the right, (clockwise) then tighten the nut back up and you should be good?

according to my book it says to loosen the nut and turn the screw all the way counterclockwise, then turn it clockwise 1/8 - 1/4 turn. then tighten the lock nut, without the screw moving.

i was playing around and i think i wreeaked it. i cant turn the screw on the inside at all and now it shifs funny.

i wanted to make it so that the cluth ingages at a higher RPM but it didnt work

yah im having the same problems, my clutch slips and i have a yamaha tri moto 175 with a 125cc engine. Does it adjust the same as a honda???

i think for higher take foo RPM you have to get stiffer springs in the clutch.

I have put some automotive oil in my engine, and it seems that my clutch problem has disipated
