hi -i am just about done re-doing my 85 250r atc-was wondering if anyone had any idea where i could fond some real nice shain sliders and chain guides for it? am willing to spend some as it has been a 2 year project and i am very close to the end!!! also anyone have any other real real nice parts up for sale? any info is GREATLY appreciated -re powdercoated frame and swing arm, WHOLE motor polished on the outside ,tons of new OEM honda parts -brand new top cylinder ,head and wiseco piston,new fmf full exhaust ,polished boyesen rad valve,k&n filter-need plastics and decent seat now -will post pics if anyone is interested-also have polished fmf reeds and cage up for sale/trades-beautiful polish job done on it-thank alot-ny nj area

 

Congrats Bro!!! Way to keep the "R" dream alive... post some pic of her yeh!?!? As far as "chain guides" or "sliders" that I think you ment. I have a 4" extended swing from Lone Star Racing that I still run the stock 250r slider and the swing arm has a bolt-up improvision that I run which accepts a stock Banshee chain guide... and it works well.

As far as general after market parts goes, "you can never go wrong with factory Honda parts." You will pay more, but that is why she is still around and a great ride!
