Wow this is pretty neat.
FROM THE BLOG.
****Broke down in the middle of Africa they tow the disabled vehicle back to the large town they left and they run into a Canadian who owns a gold mine****

" Ok, back to Angel Rob, the good part of my blog. So, Jamie and I make it to Movenpick just before Val, probably 10 minutes before. Jamie goes in to check the US exchange rate, when a man approaches me once he notices the quad. We speak for no more then 5 minutes before he offers a $500 donation. I can only assume the smell of my clothes and general dirty look on my face helped get that donation. He then walks into the Movenpick hotel and arranges for us to stay in the hotel for 2 nights. After that he organizes parking, arranges for us to go have dinner and is paying for our laundry. Then, he says he knows a specialised mechanic that would be able to help, through a business contact Ryan. I looked up at the sky and was like, “Thank you god”, you want us to keep going. To paint a picture of this “angel”, he is a Canadian middle aged man who loves bikes and owns a gold mine in Tanzania. Absolute legend, who is a sharp shooter and knows what he wants and gets it. Thanks Rob! If you find a bball court I will show you up Ozzie style."

That is sad news indeed.......I started this whole "Expedition" area for these guys on the charity ride to post their adventure. I was wondering why I haven't heard back from him in a while.

Prayers to his family and friends.

Only two riders continue in that Adventure. They are very close to breaking world record. Wish them a good luck and safe return home.
