Buddy...i can only dream, here in the north east part of the country there are only a few places left and nothing wide open.

recently i was on vacation in Cancun and looked up to see 2 federals patrolling on quads...looked like a fun job.

Stay out of the drug cartels territory or they could mail your head home in a box. Even the Mexican police and army do not step there.

Only way I,d ride in Mexico is with a armored column.

really....ive visited Mexcio many times and never had an issue. Just dont be a stupid tourist, there is trouble everywhere.

This american was shot while jet skiing., it took the Mexican army just to retreive the body because the kill the Chief of police and chopped of his head who was sent to investage it.

Staying in "fortress beach resort" is one thing,touring the country side on ATVs is another.

yes, i have seen that and it was a shame. Im not doubting there are issues in mexico, but the government has had a lot of pressence in tourist areas. Also i wouldnt be out roaming the coutryside alone in any country without knowing where i am heading is safe.

Couple years ago i was in Puerto Valarta at a club in the city, next thing i know the police are everywhere telling everyone to leave. Scary yes, but this can happen in any city...
