ATV Black Hills

ATV Black Hills
For the past several years we have enjoyed Family ATV trips, generally for a week each trip. Our past trips have included Lake City, CO, Paiute Trail in UT and most recently to Taylor Park, CO. We are considering our next trip to the Black Hills but in talking with folks have gotten mixed reviews.
We ride a mix of ATV's and widebody Side by Sides (50+ inches). all riders have above average skills but with mixed desire for risk so we don't have a need for overly technical trails on these family trips. These trips are more about scenery and family.
Can anyone offer me insight on Black Hills riding? How are the trails, both in quality and miles? Are they crowded? Are they widebody machine friendly? Are there places where we can rent cabins together (10-12 people)? Must you trail to trailheads or can you ride right from lodging locations?
I appreciate any guidance that you can provide!

Black Hills Trails
Hi Weekend
I believe the Black Hills trail system will fit your needs well. Trails are 62” and there are many trail-like Forest Service roads. Possibly you should visit the website Black Hills ATV Destinations.
This website details both 62” and 62”+ trails. It also highlights the Black Hills destinations (waterfalls, historic mines, and old buildings) you might want to visit.
