I was thinking that if I mounted a "slow moving vehicle" orange triangle on the back of my ATV I might get away with riding on secondary roads. Gee officer, I was just driving my little tractor to that field over there to spread some manure.

I found this Colorado law addressing slow moving electric vehicles. If my ATV was a "battery electric vehicle" like a golf car or Polaris GEM, then I could buy a registration and license plate.

Life ain't fair.
