This week’s Friday Funny proves that it takes more than a blizzard to slow down the potential for stupidity for a couple of quad-riders in Boston this year:

In a state where ATV's are vilified and the state gives us 3 small areas where we can ride legally, dolts like that don't help the cause.

 

I don't see the funny in this one...

 

I don't either.

 

One day everyone involved in this accident will be able to look back at it and laugh...or not. Ya, I vote not.

 

When the guy that owns the car they hit finds them, that would be a funny video.

 

The humor in this case lies not in the despicable act itself but in the unbelievable misfortune of the idiots involved to do so before a live news report on the poor conditions of the city streets.

In addition to making national headlines (even on CNN), the footage has since been turned over to Worcester police who are now searching for the suspects. It is by spreading the video to as many outlets as possible that police are hoping someone who knows these clowns will come forward with info on their identities.

Ironically the SUV actually belonged to a a reporter for a competitor news network but that didn't stop WCBVTV from doing the right thing by supplying police with the footage and asking as many networks to run the clip as possible (here is the actual report for those who are interested).

You can be assured we'll run footage of the guilty parties being brought to justice as the ultimate footnote to this one.

 

I would have led with this...

This is way funnier (minus the whole car damage thing) than the idiot's unbelievable misfortune because I doubt they would find it funny when/if they get caught.

 

Absolutely- our reshowing the event was by no means a celebration of the riders' stupidity so much as an unbelievable instance of a camera being at the right place at the right time.

Hopefully as word continues to spread, someone will come forth to police with some info that leads to prosecution. What will truly make this one a Friday Funny for the books would be the addition of a second Youtube link, this one showing the guilty party in cuffs.

 

The only funny thing is the guy pedaling his bike in the snow.
