That's why sport bikes are not a big seller where I,m from, the dealers don't even keep them in stock on the floor .That would be called the easy section.

Same here. 4wd is a necessity in New England.

This is the kind of effort it takes to get a sport quad through a small mudhole:

I'm just not that willing to get soaked to get through them.

haha yup you guys are right. Sport quads are not a big seller in my area either, mostly dirt bikes and utility since most people hunt up here. I actually bought mine from the US (cheaper). Those mud holes are nothing like you said, these trails branch off to the actual "mud holes" there you will find the guys with lifts and snorkels on there quads. If I had gave it more gas I would have made it through but I wimped out and went to slow. The only way to get through stuff like that on a sport quad is a lot of gas! Im surprised that guy got through in that video above going that slow lol

As far as being wet, I Could careless its hot ill dry off eventually especially at the speeds I go lol. Only thing that doesn't dry very quickly is your feet but I'm not going out there to look pretty when I'm done lol. Maybe ill try and get some mudding footage if I see any of those guys heading to the mud holes, doubt ill be able to follow them in though, I have never actually gone down those trails because I just assume they are suicide for a sport quad lol.

We were talking to some guy with a side by side that day and he said some guy had just flagged him down on the road coming in. I guess this guy had a huge lift and snorkel on his quad and went out to the mudhole by himself, buried his quad and had no way of getting it out. (idiot) lol, anyway the guy with the side by side told him he would have to find someone else because the it is to deep and there was no way he was going down there with his side by side.

The day I took that video it was around 60. Too cold for me to get that wet. I will hit clean water at full bore in the summer though.
