I need some advice. I can eather get a 1997 Warrior, a 250X, or a LT250R. I ride on MX tracks, trails, and jumps, jumps, jumps. I'm 5ft tall and 100 LBs. Please help!

Personally, I think a LT250R will ne a little to much for your size. A lot of tire spin. The Warrior also is a large machine to "get on" and ride this machine. The 250X seems perfect. But wait, whats a matter with the 300EX?

For serious MX, the LT250R would be my first choice. It has better power, suspension, and brakes than the other choices you listed. Someone else posted that this quad exhibits wheelspin, but that is just because he does not know how to use this concept called a "clutch". When properly used, this "clutch" will get alot of that power to the ground. For MX, in stock form, the Warrior and 250X are both underpowered and undersuspended. But, based on your size, and I assume inexperience, the 250X would most likely be the right choice for you. Untill you learn the ropes on a more milder sport quad, I wouldn't recomment you throw the leg over the LT250R. It is like hopping on a RM250 as your first motorcycle.

Last time I checked when I pinned my LT250R, the wheels spun. Last time I checked the wheels on my friend Banshee spun. Last time I checked, clutch for doesn't do anything when your going down a strain away to prevent wheelspin. How do you know Evan doesn't know clutch work? No just anybody can hop on a 250R, hw must know somthing. Do you ride with him? If not how can you judge his ability ro ride? tisk tisk tisk Maybe Evan ment wheelspin because of his size?

For those who didn’t know, Boger & Evan Johnson are the same person. When did you get your 400ex Evan?

I f Evan and boger are the same persom i advise you to stop cloning. I learned my lesson about cloning on a bbs elsewhere. If you are not cloning and just wanted to change your nick then no problem

Yes, your clutch can improve your traction. All top SuperCross and Motocross riders virtually fry their clutch in every race. If you ever watch the races on ESPN you will hear David Bailey say he is making the powerband with his clutch. When it gets really muddy riders tend to run a gear higher and use their clutch to prevent excessive wheelspin. Slipping your clutch on a motocross track is a key part to keeping traction on the ground and also keeping your power up. Evan while I do believe maybe the other poster was snippy with you, I am sorry to inform you, but he was right.

I'm not cloning, I don't use that name anymore. I use Boger. And i got my 400EX a couple days ago. Didn't get a chance to sell the blaster yet. I didn't know about the clutch thing. I bet god ole Tom is celebrating his victory right now.

PS- I was talking in 3rd person.
