wolverine rancher or recon

While the Recon is a great machine, I think it would be unfair to compare it to the rancher and wolverine. But if you find that the rancher and wolverine are out of your price range, the recon is great value.
The wolverine and rancher both have 4wd (the rancher is available in 2wd also). Between these two machines I went with the wolverine because it seems much more "sporty" than the rancher.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one of these machines, and like the previous post I would suggest that you go and test ride both before making your decision.

wolverine has higher top speed and is also very reliable in the woods it all comes down to skill level and terrain your riding on. i went with a wolverine because a few of my buddys have ranchers. i can get my wolverine up to 55 where there smacking the rev limiter at 48 50 and i can also wheelie my wolverine for days.. i love it.. plus the sporty look is great and theres just as many after market parts for them as honda also

I'm with moose on that one. ive owned both the 4x4 rancher and the select 2wd/4x4 wolverine 450 auto. rancher is meat & potatoes solid quad. the wolf is a gas to ride, lots of power. in 2wd its a fun sport bike, in 4x4 very surefooted. being a SRAxle pulling & trailering not bad. work or play?
