Honda's current lineup does not even HAVE any sporty ATVs over 250cc. The
Rincon is their biggest ATV now, and that's a huge utility quad with 675cc.
Maybe they add something mid year? Even the venerable 450R has not been
sold for a couple of years, tho you can still find new 2014 models.

UTVs like the Pioneer are not in the same market as ATVs.

Honda still makes 400 and 450 sport ATVs or at least they show them on their website. All their utility quads are way under-powered compared to everyone else. Almost every brand has a 500cc quad that's nearly equal in power to Honda's 675cc Rincon.

I never look at new sport quads, didn't even realize the 450R wasn't still offered as a new model. The Rincon has less power than some 500cc quads, its an outdated engine that underperfroms. And the 3 speed auto-style transmission is ok for cruising but not for serious trail riding. The Rubicon is the flagship model in my opinion. It has all the best features, minus a powerful engine. Give it the Rincon 675cc engine and do away with the Rincon completely. Nobody would even miss the Rincon. I'd prefer more power than the 39hp the 675cc engine puts out though. The 700xx engine puts out around 50 hp, why Honda never put it into a utility quad baffles me. The XR650 dirtbike engine makes more power than the Rincon engine too. Honda has street motorcycle v-twin engines about the same size that would be great for an atv as well. I guess what I'm saying is that Honda has great engines but they refuse to put one in a 4x4 utility quad. I realize utvs are not the same but at least Honda is trying to build one that does have decent power. Its rumored that a new sport utv will be coming soon as Honda has secured the rights to call it Talon. From what I see at most dealers, sport atvs just sit on the showroom floor and collect dust. Nobody buys them anymore, at least not new. It you can buy a 450R used for $3000, why spend $7000(or more) for a new one? You can get a 400ex for $2000 in good condition and they will run forever.

Yeah, they have them on their website, but notice that they are both 2014 models.

No question that most ATV engines put out a fraction of the hp that same-sized m/c engines do. And Honda is not known for high power in their quads, I will give you that. Their crappy website does not give power OR WEIGHT of their 4-wheelers.

Several times in the past I checked and they didn't list their towing or rack capacities either. It's like they don't want you to know much about their quads.
