Best price on 2006 Honda FourTrax Rancher AT (TRX400FA)
--Hi, all. I have decided on purchasing the 2006 Honda FourTrax Rancher AT (TRX400FA), and was wondering what kind of "final" price I can expect from a dealer. I realize final prices from individual dealers will be different, but was just needing an estimate, nothing exact. This particular ATV has an MSRP of $6099. This will be a cash price, no financing.
--I went to the Abernathy Cycles website, and they have a price on that same ATV for only $5243. So, is that a good price to haggle with? I've never bought a new ATV before, so I need a little help, haha. Thanks.
--A question regarding Abernathy Cycles in Tennessee. I am in Oklahoma and was wondering if they ever ship ATVs out of state? If so, what is the usual shipping price? If I ordered from somebody like Abernathy, I would not have to pay sales tax (well, at least not up front), whereas if I bought locally from Paris or Texarkana, I would have to pay sales tax.
P.S.
I am in the southeast part of Oklahoma, so Paris, Texas and Texarkana, Texas are the nearest Honda ATV dealers to me. If anybody has any dealings with either of these two dealership please speak up.

You may want to wait! The whole Rancher lineup is missing from the Honda website for 07. This means that there will be MAJOR changes! You might want to wait and see what happens??????
Personally, I am hoping that the whole lineup gets turned into lightweight hybrid "true" sport 4X4's, ala the Wolverine.
I need another 4X4 in the Rancher class anyway, so I am sitting tight waiting to see what the 07's are like. If I don't particularly like the changes, I should be able to pick up a leftover 06 for cheap anyway.

I believe Abernathy states on their website you have to pick up on site. I was quoted $700 to have an ATV shipped from Wisc. to CA....Like Reconranger said, the 07's are coming so there could be some real deals to be had on the 06's........I got an 05 Rincon $1600 below MSRP last year.

--Hi, all. Well, I decided to go with a new 2005 Honda TRX500FE, Olive in color. Paris, TX gave me the better deal, and in the color I really wanted. I will pick it up on Wednesday of next week and I cannot wait. It has the electronic shift, so I will have to get used to that, haha.
