Default need advice

I currently have a 05 outlander 400. I want to upgrade but I'm a little torn on what to get. My dads friend just bought a brand new King Quad with power steering I must say that's one really nice machine. My brother has a 07 king quad and he loves it. So I'm looking into a king quad myself. But I still like can am. Even tho I've read people unhappy with can am and I've had people tell me I'm nuts for wanting another can am. Cuz of there problems and other things to and the fact that there parts are more expensive.

I want a bigger machine then a 400 like I have. I want a 650 or a 750 and I don't want anything bigger then that. But I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between the outlander and outlander L. Is there a big difference? I know the L is for a more affordable price but is there a difference in quality or how there made? The one machine I really like is the 570 X Mr. I think it's cool but i don't know if I would really use a mud quad like that. Even tho I do love riding in mud and going thru water but I don't know if that's a decent price.

Which machine would be better? King quad or getting another can am?

The best thing is if you can get some seat time on both machines. They're both great quads with good power. The Outlander with the 650 is as powerful as the King Quad 750, maybe more. It's a great all around engine. Plenty of speed and it gets there pretty quickly too. If you've gotten through all the mud holes you encounter on your trails I wouldn't go for the MXR unless you want to get in deeper. I would get power steering in either machine you get. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. It's great at the end of a long ride to put it up on the maximum setting and relax a bit. I do like that Can-Am lets you select how much boost you have. Not sure of the Suzuki power steering and how they do it.

Even the new 450 Outlander is 38hp now that's the power of most 550s out there. Their new 570 sure looks nice for the price http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...cleCode=478086 I never really heard much complains about Can AM.

Yeah power steering is a must I think. That king quad was really nice with the power steering. I like the OUTLANDER L but what is the big differences between the L and the regular outlander?

I'm not sure what the "L" stands for?

The Outlander L has 25" tires instead of 26". I don't know what else is different besides the smaller engine but the features and specs are on their website.

I think the L doesn't have the quick engaging progressive diff-lock like the regular outlander has. It still has the progressive locking front differential, it just doesn't kick in as fast. I'm a bit of a Yamaha fan myself, I'd look at a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly 700. I say 2015 because that's the last year of the 686cc Grizzly 700. The new 2016 models have the 708cc engine which makes slightly more power but costs more. Dealers will be looking to move the 2015 and even 2014 models if they still have them. I'm thinking good deals on this leftover inventory. Grizzly has great eps and the push button diff-lock is super easy to use. The Grizzly makes great low end power and still pushes the machine up to about 65 mph on top end. Its basically about equal in power to the King Quad 750.
