Another thing that should be noted is that if you plan to buy new, go to a dealer that allows you to test ride new machines. This is good for used machines too. All the reading and research cannot take the place of seat time. What a test rider thinks about a machine might be totally different than your take on the same machine. Especially when looking at similar models. You might like a different model the best.
