Need Help 05 Traxter 650 cutting out backfires
Hey guys! I have a 2005 Bombardier Traxter XT auto cvt 650. Ok, heres the problem. I sunk it about 2 years ago for about 15 seconds drove it home, shut it off and then it wouldnt start. well a year later it fired right up... so now what happens is it will run just fine to drive a block or 2 and it will start right back up, but if you try and go any distance it will eventually start to cut out and slowly die backfiring and sputtering like crazy, then it wont start, sometimes when i hit the carb it will go but if its hot hitting the carb does nothing and it wont start... sometimes it will keep going when you choke it after it starts acting up but when you take the choke off it will die. also say at 20 mph you can go a mile to a mile and half before it acts up. but at 50-55 mph it will only go 1/4 mile to a half mile... i noticed when it was 55 mph it died at the exact same spot like within 10 feet... i took the carb apart and sprayed carb cleaner and shot air through all the valves to make sure they werent clogged. im at wit's end with this thing as to why its fine until you hit specific distances or temperatures...
