Greetings - I am new to the forum and hope someone can offer advice on starting issues with my 2001 Traxter 500 XL. I have a good battery and juice to the winch and ignition. When I try the electric start, the motor will not turn. All I hear is a clicking sound that appears to be coming from the solenoid. Do these go bad? Help!

 

have uou tried shorting across the terminal fo solonoid see if starter turns over. Need to check all connections for good,clean,tight connections too. Perry
