Put next axle bearings and seals in yesterday, first time doing it on a four wheeler, put bearings in and tapped seals in place, put everything back together , test ride it and the seals come out. Is there something that keeps seals in place? Any help would be appreciated. 2003 ds 650 baja

Seals
There is in my experience a point at which the seal should seat in and then won't or shouldn't move. I would check to ensure seals and bearings as well are fully seated in their respective position or groove. I used a jack to make sure they were seated in position. Once the thing is seated it shouldn't slip or come out of position. Especially if locked down right into place. Was there drag on the tires or any sense of resistance besides expected minute amount thatay be due to breaking in?

what he said... sounds like they did not get in all the way, wrong seal, or when cleaning up the parts you took of to much material where the seal sits. If the seals are right and you did have them in all the way you can try a little green loctight. It takes up small gaps and helps lock ball joints in place.. Only need a little and let it cure up before you reassemble everything
