Get the ITP sand stars it helped my 01 650 out a bunch in turning and take off.

Those that say you cannot run a 20" paddle in the sand are just plain crazy. If you get stuck with a 20" tire you will get stuck with a 22" tire, learn not to stop on the uphill. I run the 20" GBC sand sharks all day at Glamis, never get stuck, can go anywhere. Just get some paddles and go ride!
