90 is a little bit of a stretch. I haven't heard of anyone going more than a tick over 80.

I get a kick out of what some people THINK their machines will do. I have even heard some dealers telling customers that a stock Banshee will do 100 which only did low 70's. Some machines may feel faster because of the powerband and way they accelerate, but come on people, lets be realistic when brag up your machines.

If your reading the mph off the stock speedometer its gonna be wrong. Its been a law for years that a atv cant exceed 75 mph on a stock atv. theirs is no way that a stock 800 outlander will out run a stock ds650, Come on fellows. A stock ds650 will do 75.
i have an 800max xt and i had on the drag it came in at 84 before i ran out of track and its all stock but the rims and has a full skid plate on it to

 

im kinda confused on your post... you say a stock outty cant outrun a stock DS650, but then you said you had the stock outty at 84mph and the stock ds650 will go 75?

stock outty=84
stock ds650=75

stock outty wins by 9mph?

He was repeating a post from someone else, and then making his own point that his outty was at 84.

 

I think that 84 must have been really KPH. The one earlier I believe since it was later mentioned that the revlimiter kicked in at 81 when spinning the tires on ice. I had at least seen something similar to that with the 4 of them that I have had on a dyno without a eddy brake all of them bounced off the rev limmiter arrond 78-80mph. Sorry but they will not top 80 without some major clutch work and a enhanced ECM program that raises the rev limmit.

And yes stock vs stock I think there has been many people prove the Outlander is faster than the DS. But how offten does someone buy a ds and leave it stock.

oh ya bay the way we had it up to 78 and jump in about 20 ft my cuzin yes it jump better than a yzf 450
