Outlander 400 gets fuel injection!!
Did you see this?!
http://atvfrontier.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=30140.html
I own a 2005 Outlander Max 400 XT.
I was actually thinking it might be time to move on to a new quad by this next spring, but if the fuel injection setup on the new 400's can be retrofitted to older carbureted models, I would seriously rethink this!
Anyone have any input on this? I can't be the only Outlander owner with this thought....

Why do you live in the rocky mountains? Does your carb screwed up alot? I ride and rode with a SP500 EFI, EFI will not give you any power or speed advantage. I did not notice this wild throttle response difference. By the time you change $$$ over to a EFI for there little throttle response difference, you could of spent that money on a Clutch kit and got some serious throttle response improvements. Its the not rejetting going up mountains I would like if I live in the rockies mountains, other than that it is a troublesome switch over for little gain.
What kind of difference were you expecting EFI to give you? In a recent motocross comparison the Suzuki RM 450 is the only EFI Bike all the others remain carborated and the Suzuki came in last in acceleration. Remember these are the simple throttle body type of EFI not the sophisticated type found in Automobiles.
