You can take all the "shootouts" and put them in one bucket and you won't have beans.

Brand new? Make sure you are using the right key and that the kill switch is on. Other than that, it's back to the dealer.

Is it in Park or Neutral?

Is the brake pedal pressed down when you are trying to start it?

If you are in park or neutral you SHOULD not need to apply the brakes. But you can use either the hand or foot, but make sure your brake light is turning on when you apply them. Seen some brake switches go bad.

Definitely check to make sure your kill switch is in the run position. Red switch on the left handle.

Another possibility is the starter got "stuck". If you can, try tapping the side of the starter with the handle of a screw driver.

So it worked fine when you left the dealer, trailered it home, and now it won't start after checking everything is in the run position. I am willing to bet a electrical connection was not fully locked into place and it came loose, or possibility a fuse went out.

Good luck.

Try putting the key in 180 degrees to what it is now, if you haven't already. Also could be the chip under the key rubber bad??
