Starter/starting problems:
My daughter picked up an older Redcat 110. Won’t start so I pulled the starter which seems to be working fine then put it back in and pulled the far side cover off to see what we could see. The starter turns which drives a small chain that goes around a sprocket on the crank. It seems that the pully on the crank is just free spinning. Not sure what causes it to engage. Is it an electric clutch or is it some kind of friction clutch? Anyone already solved this problem or know how to?
