hello recently purchased an adly from a buddy of mine for cheap with a no spark issue, its a 2005 model dont know much about them, quickly traced down a bad cdi box, replaced it for $90, i noticed the "start" button on the handle bars wasnt working, and he had mentioned his new battery seem to die once a week or month, i didnt think much about it, battery was junk, and wanted to see if it would even run being parked for awhile now, so purchased a cdi cleaned the carb and fuel tank new fuel house plugged the cdi up, jumped the coil and she fired right up and ran great until my cdi box exploded in about 10 mins of running and when i mean exploded sounded like a gun going off! Any ideas on what kind of problem im having or what i need to test to find out? would a voltage regulator rectifier cause this? Im new to multi meters, and new to fourwheelers im a car mechanic, so any help or advice would help me greatly! Just dont want to blow up another $90 cdi box
