runs wide open
#2
2 things to check:
1. throttle cable, is it tight and the slide is wide open calling for more throttle?
2. slide in carb is installed backwards (180°) off and the grooves are not lined up with the ****(alignment pins) inside the slide passageway. therefore, the slide cannot go all the way down into the carb and is in the open position.

you know what i'm talking about, right? there's 2 ways to put the slide in the slots, the correct way and the incorrect way. just look at the grooves in the slide and the placements of the alignment pins/**** inside of the slide's passageway. the slide should go down all the way inside of the carb without much resistance.
