NST 200cc quad Falls on face, super lean Please Help!
Hi all,
I have a 2007 New Star Technologies 200-mu
ATV 200-MU
I have no idea what is wrong with this thing. It gets spark , tho is really REALLY lean (white plug).
I have cleaned the carb very well, float stays level when upside down, I have tried every needle position...but still, same problem.
I can get it to idle like a champion...BUT, as soon as you try to take off...it gets great power for like 1-2seconds (will raise up on the back tires with me [180lbs]) and then it just falls flat...bogs down and dies...like it loses all fuel. I have removed any external possibility of it not getting fuel, i ran a hose straight from the tank to the carb...I cleaned the tank, but to no avail, same problem.
I feel like it could be an electrical problem, it just started doing that out of nowhere, I cannot figure it out for the life of me, I have tried for 3 days now.
Does anyone have an idea/suggestion/tip/wiring diagram/anything that could help me?
I have no idea what to do here, the thing is in good shape, hasn't been rode hard, it just seems to have some odd quirk.
I appreciate any/all attempts at help...it used to run fine...and now...2 seconds and blah....
