Default Chinese Scooters

I know this may be a little off topic here but since so many places that sell the Chinese ATVs also sell Chinese scooters I thought I would go ahead and post the question.

I'm looking for a 150cc scooter in the $1500 or less price range. Anyone have any good recommendations for a Chinese namebrand/model?

Also, I'd like to hear any horror stories as well so I will know what to stay away from.

If you look I think you will find some specifically on these Chinese scooters like the quad form here. I have ran across them over the year on the net. They would probably be able fill you in better regarding them. They use the same 150 motor as many of the quads. In the quads they seem to stand up and work well.
