Default kazuma brake gasket required?

I have a Kazuma Falcon 110, given to me by a friend. It hadn't been used in over a year and it is in pretty rough shape. The brakes didn't work at all, so I opened the rear drum to find that the gasket was broken and worn and the pads were basically gone. So I ordered new pads/shoe, but do I need to replace the gasket? Or, can I just use some liquid gasket instead? I hate to spend $15 on a cheap piece of rubber for an ATV that really isn't worth much. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

I'd used the gasket material. More than one comes in a tube, one size fits all.

Brake shoe is installed with liquid gasket. Works great, thanks!

I'm assuming your talking about the gasket in the middle of the drum that does not move.
Not sure if they have the gasket around the lip of the drum as well like my KK does. But GM makes a rubber repair that works great. It brings life back to old warn out rubber gaskets
