Ignition Problem - Coolster 6250
I've got a Coolster 6250 which has done pretty good but now I have an ignition problem: No spark. The motor turns over but won't crank. I pulled the spark-plug and held the side against the engine-block (to ground it) and couldn't see any spark at all.
I started throwing new parts at it in wild hopes of curing it:
> New CDI
> New ignition Coil (w/spark plug cable)
> New Sparkplug
> New Contact-Coil (starter solenoid)
> New Key-switch
Still no spark.
Are there some step-by-step guidelines for trouble-shooting these karts?
And it might be something as simple as a ground-cable connection ~ what's the best way to check that it's ok??
What is the minimum voltage that I need to see across the battery terminals?
I'm at a loss to make this thing run again. . .
Thanks in advance!
