Sorry I have looked though the posts on them but the threads are older, info changes. The one I am looking at is 2008 250 cc. Canadian tire stopped selling them ,but I was told Ryobi power tools is who to contact for parts. Are they good machines? Other than a mickey mouse switch and missing ignition, some faded(I mean really bleached)camo graphics it is good. Rough carb on top end but running, not smoking. Any info would be great.

 

What info do you need? Did you read my thread? Lot's of NLA parts on these Bajas. Not a good choice of a quad if your just getting into them. I would run from it unless it is a steal (under $100) and I am being serious

 

yes they can be a bit of a nightmare if they are not running right. Had one and could never get the carb to stay in tune even after several rebuilds among a few other issues that kept popping up.

 

Thank you mpdano and Zrock. 600 canadian for the machine in my name. My kid really needs an upgrade, they help with fire wood duty and yard clean up, so his 90 cc polaris is getting too small. my buddy has a dead and rusting yamaha timberwolf if we need parts. The stator went or sonething, and it sat till it seized, he said we know where it is if needed. Should i try the yamaha carb or just not bother with the machine?
