Talon carter 150cc dune buggy ignition problem
Hi,
My father resently bought a talon carter 150cc dune buggy everything was working great then the ignition switch went out we replaced the ignition switch and now there is no spark the buggy won't start. We've tried everything. We've taken it to professional and no one can figure out what is wrong with it. My dad is a good machanic and he's is convinced it's a wiring problem I've spent hours online trying to find the right wiring diagram....can anyone help

At a guess, is the ignition switch four wire? If so, you can blow the CDI if you wire it wrong. You can buy the wrong switch and it will only spark with ignition in the off position, but you can't get the starter to spin with ignition off so can't tell, unless you have a pull start on the engine.

More info
He bought the bune buggy and the stator ring was bad and the coil, cdi, starter cilinoid and a new battery in it. It ran fine for a couple of days then it started dying while you were riding it we traced the problem to the ignition switch. We replaced the ignition bt the pins to connect the ignition were wrong so we bypassed the connector piece and hard wired it and ever since then we've been having problems with it....is there anyway to buy a new wire harness....we've tried to get local atv machanics to look at it but no one will touch it bc it has a wiring problem...we've put about a 1,000 dollars in it and still can ride. My dad's threaten to run it over with the truck if we don't find a way to fix it soon please help!!!
