2007 Marshin MXT200 ATV......Help Please
#13
Still need help! Put the new battery & cdi's in and it spins but no fire. The man we bought it from said something about a sensor on the flywheel. I have looked everywhere and can not find a maneto that has 18 coils. Anyone know about a sensor that is on or near flywheel? Also could this be the wrong magneto? Need to get this thing fixed. Ty so much in advance. Note there is only one shop/person where I am that deals with these & he is more interested in selling you a new one.

hi z.....I don't know if it's getting stark.....The old man I got it from screwed it up wiring changing out parts etc. He did say something about the magneto or flywheel sensor. I can not find an 18 coil magneto anywhere. I need to find a wiring diagram for this motor. It want to turn over but does not my nephew thinks it's a wire. Any clue where I can find the wiring diagram? Thank you in advance.

I bought my Marshin 2007 Marshin MXT200 from a dealer near Asheville,NC actually they called the place Swannanoa,NC. I bought it new in the crate, the manual wiring diagram was nothing even close to the ATVs wiring, my engine has 220cc stamped on it and 5sp
manual trans, the CDI is a dc box and you must have a battery, it has 2 plugs, small plug
goes to the battery. As I said the manual was usless, I had to do a google image to find the CDI box wiring and also searched youtube to finally figure out how to rewire the CDI.

Why would an engine with 7 miles on it need a top end rebuild? If you still had the cylinder, an old vintage car/bike rebuilder's dodge is to find a piston slightly bigger than the bore, with the same gudgeon (wrist) pin size and crown height, and get the bore machined to suit it. Does the bike have the actual makers name on the plate shown in the photo? Marshin may be a name thought up by the importer, the Chinese manufacturer may still be going.
